Quick answer
Do not paste a remote PowerShell command or delete an unknown driver. First update Windows, identify the exact blocked driver in Windows Security, and compare it with the current developer known-issues note. If you cannot identify the driver, stop and wait for an official update.
The developer known-issues page lists community workarounds while investigation continues. Treat every driver change as reversible and version-specific.
Checklist
- Restart Windows, install pending Windows updates, and retry once before changing services or drivers.
- Open Windows Security, check Device security and Core isolation, and write down any incompatible driver name shown there.
- Compare the exact driver or service name with the current developer known-issues guidance.
- If hardware-control software owns the driver, update or uninstall that software through its official installer instead of deleting a random system file.
- Change only one reversible setting at a time, restart, and record whether the error changes.
- If the blocked driver is unknown or the workaround requires downloading a script, stop and wait for an official game or anti-cheat update.
Do not do this
- Never run a command that downloads and executes remote PowerShell code, especially as administrator.
- Do not delete .sys files, registry services, anti-cheat files, or fan-control drivers just because an anonymous comment says to.
- Do not disable antivirus, driver protections, or Memory Integrity permanently to launch a beta or new game.
